OnePlus 6 to have a glass back with nanotech coating

After teasing for a while, Pete Lau, CEO and Founder, OnePlus has confirmed in a forum post that the OnePlus 6 will feature a glass design. He also shared about company’s philosophy of honest design focuses on creating a functional product based on need rather than adding on additional elements for the sake of hype.

The OnePlus 6’s glass back has five printed layers of Nanotech Coating, instead of three, which itself is being implemented for the first time. Now this nanotech coating might be similar looking to HTC’s Liquid Surface that used differently colored layers to make the glass come alive as you turn the phone to different angles.

Other confirmed specifications include the Qualcomm snapdragon 845, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. A display with a notch, glass back and possible wireless charging.
