Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Note 5 Pro and MiTv 4 launched in India
Xiaomi announced 3 new products in India. The devices launched are the Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi Tv 4. Key highlights of the smartphones is the 18:9 display, large batteries and new processors, while the key highlight of the Tv is it's thickness and price.
Redmi Note 5 Specifications
Redmi Note 5 is powered by the qualcomm snapdragon 625 octa core processor clocked at 2GHz, with Adreno 506 GPU. There are two variants 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. The screen is 5.99 inches with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution (Full HD+) with 18:9 aspect ratio. There is 2.5D curved glass too. Screen is gorilla glass protected.
Coming to the camera the Redmi Note 5 is loaded with 12MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5MP front camera. Rear cameras as well as front camera comes with LED flash support.
Redmi Note 5 Pro Specifications
Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 with Adreno 509 GPU. The screen on the Note 5 Pro is also of 5.99 inches, 2.5D curved glass with FHD+ i.e. 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Handset weight is 181 grams and thickness is 8.05mm. MIUI 9 based on Android 7 runs out of the box. On the back there are dual cameras of 12MP(f/2.2) + 5MP resolution (f/2.0). Front camera is a 20MP shooter and it too can shoot with bokeh effects (portrait / depth). There is image stabilization EIS.
Mi Smart Tv 4 specifications
This is a 55 inch TV that supports 4K HDR resolution, comes with frameless design, 4.9mm thick. This Mi TV is running PatchWall OS that is designed for Indian users and this OS supports 15 Indian languages.
Inside the hood the Mi Smart TV 4 is powered by Amlogic 64 Bit quad core processor with Mali T830 GPU. There is 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM. There are 3x HDMI and 2x USB port, also included built in dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Redmi Note 5 starts at Rs 9,999 and goes upto Rs 11,999. Redmi Note 5 Pro starts at Rs 13,999 and goes upto Rs 16,999, while the Mi Tv is priced at Rs 39,999.
All these products are Flipkart exclusive as of now.
