MIUI 8 Global Beta rolled out

Xiaomi's MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM has been rolled out, you will need to manually install the ROM. For now the MIUI 8 Beta supports Redmi Note 3G, Note 4G, Note prime, Redmi 2 and Mi Max (32GB).

What’s new in MIUI 8

Apart from new sets of animation, color and interface the MIUI 8 comes loaded with a lot of new features. Users can now add music and special effects to videos that they just recorded. Scrolling screenshots is another interesting feature wherein users can take screenshots not just of what they see on the screen but 2 of more screen (pages) below.

Then there is Dual Apps feature that allows users to have 2 accounts on the same phone for any app – for example you can have dual accounts for Facebook, WhatsApp, twitter.

How to Install MIUI 8

The MIUI 8 Global developer ROM version 6.7.5 can be downloaded from the miui.com forum. You will also find the instructions on how to install them on respective devices.
