The LG G5 has a 5.3-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Quantum always-on display that lets you can check the time, battery status, and notifications without waking the phone. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with LG UX. It has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The display has 3D Arc Glass and a metal back that offer a premium look. It is 8.6mm thick and weighs 159 grams.

It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, OIS 2.0, Laser auto focus, f/1.8 aperture, manual mode and a secondary 8-megapixel rear camera with 135-degree wide angle lens.

It has 32GB of internal storage with expansion slot, fingerprint sensor on the back and a 2800mAh (removable) battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
